The bug mentioned above is no longer a problem.I have more good news for you.Most things from Sky Pilot 3.6 work great with Firefox 4.The url and search bars need little work.Tabs look ok but they are a bit too big and there's no close button.The add-ons tab ,the tab view option and the new menu button are new to Firefox 4 so I have to make them from scratch + there are few minor bugs here and there.I'm planning to start work on Sky Pilot soon.I'll post more info here.Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

I've made new icons and stuff so that it can be compatible with Firefox 4.All that's left for me to do is fix few more bugs and design new full screen,zoom,sync and feed navigation buttons.

The tabs are new as well but this will be a TEMPORARY DESIGN (i hope)!I'm facing difficulties with restoring the original tabs and I don't have much time lately.If there's someone who'd like to help please let me know.

No more updates for Firefox 3.6.x .Firefox 4 is coming soon and I'm few steps away from finishing the theme.RC 1 is now available.More news soon.I've been quite busy lately and I don't have much time for theming but I'll release it before Firefox4 final which should be out by the end of this month.

Back on that not so nice default theme so good luck with the updates and that everything will run very well

Yup the theme is almost done and I'll upload it shortly.I have to finish the small navigation buttons,fix few bugs and I'm done but before that I want to update the themes which are already compatible and uploaded on the mozilla site.They have bugs and I don't want to lie to users.

I added this image when I updated the theme for Firefox 3.6.It wasn't part of the original.There's a small bug with it and that's why I haven't put it in Firefox 4 yet.I'll try to add it back in RC 2 or final.I don't know which is going to be the next version.I'm a bit surprised that this first RC got reviewed cuz there are a lot more things which I need to work on.

Will let you know if I run into anything hinky with it. So far, so good. :-)

First is a tab issue. the active tab has a fattish white line for the top highlight.

Second is a bit more complicated. I use a help desk mgmt program called Sysaid. When I'm in a ticket, have entered information, but have not saved the info, a popup box comes up, asking if I want to discard the changes. In FF4 theme, the box does not appear, but the text (praise God) does. I have screen shots of both. Jivko, do you have a way I could send them to you?

thanks for still updating this wonderful theme which I just can't do without.

But now that I have updated to Firefox Ver. 4.0.1. and the latest Skypilot theme, my URL information which used to be in the Add-On
Bar at the bottom of Firefox now has a live on it's own in the form that it pops up and dissapears in a tiny window at the bottom of Firefox. This is very annoying and distracting! The progress bar which used to be in the Add-On bar is gone as well.

Is this a known problem or just my setup?

I did some googling and it seems that my problems have to do with the new Firefox modifications.
Found an add-on called Status-4-Evar which does the trick.

Sup - even did the update to FF 5.0 and Skypilot is still working, with the known issues. Might be it's a personal issue or impression, the tabbar is a bit larger but except this, looks & behaves exactly like FF 4.x with Skypilot.

Yes there is a tab background bug in Firefox 5 which wasn't in Firefox 4.I don't have the time to fix it right now.I have other things to do.Be happy that it's updated.I have a lot of things to fix in Sky Pilot.It's not just the tab bar.Thanks for reporting this bug.

Although the FF5 tabs (tab bar) are rendered half height with my dear SkyPilot theme, I really don't mind it as it allows more space for the content of the page!
No really, it is getting to the point where I must learn not to update FireFox until I confirm my trusted SkyPilot does not get 'disabled'.
FF5 currently shows my SkyPilot to be disabled but little it knows...
I know that long-time users of SkyPilotClassic are a finicky bunch but please don't forget us nor our little cult's motto:

"Because every navigator needs a pilot"
